Rocket Jumper and the Time Crack

In the year 3600, the world population is severely addicted to a chemical known as 'Time Crack'. This wonderful drug heals the body, steels the mind and staves off aging!

But we've run out, and there's only one place to get more – the past!

You play as Rocket Jumper, who journeys to Ancient Asia to collect more Time Crack. Using your trusty rocket launcher, you must navigate the peculiar and mystical lands of times past...

CONTROLS

• WASD to Move
• Spacebar to Jump
• Mouse to Aim
• Left-Click to Shoot
• Pick up Time Crack to replenish health
• Do sick rocket jumps to gain altitude and speed
• ESCAPE to close game

This game was made in 2 days for Reload Magazine x In The Keep Mini Game Jam #1

The Theme was: Health Mechanics! For this game, we decided to try and create a rocket jump which the player could use to platform around – but at the cost of their health points. In order to stay alive and keep going, the player needs to collect Time Crack to replenish their health. This is also the goal of the game, turning it into a collect-o'-thon / FPS platformer.
